- THE HOUSE "AT THE BLACK LION"

The house "At the black lion" is a historical monument dating back to the 14th century. Pre-Hussite documents mention two houses on the corner of Rybná and Masná streets in the Old Town of Prague. These houses were gradually re-built and they were joint in one big house later.

From 1918 this house belonged to Mr. Vaníček and his wife Alice. Vaníček was a consultant of Prague´s minister(. After their death the house became state property. After the year 1989 this house was restored to Vaníček´s niece and she reconstructed it and introducing small shops to the the first floor.

- SWEETSHOP-CAFE "AT LANTERN"

You can visit these premises of high historical value in our family sweetshop – cafe At Lantern, which was established in November 2003. We have been offering free wi-fi connection since June 2007.

Among Our significant clients are : the estate agency Gaudí, the czech company ZAPA –a batching plant, Prague´s theatre Bez Zábradlí, hotel Maxmilian.

Our café is an important participant of Prague Food Festival every year.
